| Fleet was my first Nursery dog (2009) as well as my first Open dog (2010). He was not aged right for Nursery, but in two trials I was able to get second & forth place (ie one leg) and in his 5 Nursery runs he only failed to finish the course once. He also placed well in a number of training/non USBCHA trials. I moved him up to Open fall of 2010 after a short, but successful Pro Novice season. Fleet is already placing in Open Trials. On stock Fleet is a vary natural & biddable dog. He balances sheep with ease and was born with natural pace. Fleet is also in training as an agility dog and because of his great toy/retrieve drive is learning quickly and started trialing in agility in 2010. In the house he is a sweet and well-mannered dog. |
| Fellside Fleet came to me from Killiebrae Farm in England and carries two of Derek Scrimgeour's best known blood lines. Fleet was sired by Derek's young dog Bob (ISDS#271888) who has been run successfully in both Nursery and Open trials. Bob was sired by Derek's influential Ben (ISDS#220939) and is out of S. T. Birkett's Mossy (ISDS#261002). Fleet's dam is Wendy Cole's Advengers Fell (ISDS#247619) is currently winning in Open trials in the UK. Fell is sired by Derek's National dog Sweep (ISDS#198150) and on her dam's side goes back to G. Howells' International dog Jock (ISDS#158606) |
