| Silver Wind Farm actively promotes the use of Border Collies as a working stockdog. SWF BC's are selected from some of the strongest working/herding bloodlines in Europe. All of SWF BC's are registered with the International Sheepdog Society and the American Border Collie Asso. In accordance to the ABCA's philosophy SWF Border Collies do not compete in AKC conformation events or select for conformation "type". SWF rarely produces litters, but the breeding program is focused on creating a sound working sheepdogs for trial and farm use.
